Moje marzenie o własnej domowej bibliotece jest na drodze do spełnienia – pokój przygotowany, regały zamówione – teraz zostaje czekać. Czymś jednak trzeba wypełnić te wszystkie półki. Poza wydawanymi w Polsce książkami poluję na coraz więcej zagranicznych wydań specjalnych. Jedną z subskrypcji, które udało mi się ostatnio dorwać jest nowość od Illumicrate – Evernight. Kwartalna subskrycja zawiera przepiękne wydania horrorów. Nie udało mi się na nią zapisać od samego początku, więc niestety nie mam pierwszej książki, ale zaczęłam od drugiej i oto ona! Zajrzyjcie ze mną do pudełka i zachwyćcie się tymi cudownymi brzegami!

Nigdy wcześniej nie czytałam horrów, ale po przeczytaniu „Haunting Adeline” i pierwszym doświadczeniu niepokoju w trakcie czytania postanowiłam rozszerzyć swoje horyzonty czytelnicze o właśnie horrory ale też kryminały i thrillery – zobaczymy czy mi przypadną do gustu.

My dream of having my own home library is on the path to fulfillment – the room is prepared, shelves are ordered – now, all that’s left is to wait. However, these shelves need to be filled with something. In addition to books published in Poland, I’m on the hunt for more and more foreign special editions. One of the subscriptions I recently managed to get is the latest release from Illumicrate – Evernight. The quarterly subscription includes beautiful editions of horror novels. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sign up for it from the very beginning, so, unfortunately, I don’t have the first book, but I started with the second, and here it is! I’ve never read horror before, but after reading „Haunting Adeline” and experiencing the first moments of unease while reading, I’ve decided to broaden my reading horizons to include not only horror but also crime and thrillers – we’ll see if I take a liking to them.
