Na „Drzewo. Mity słowiańskie i inne opowieści” zwróciliście moją uwagę wy pod postem „Kwiatu paproci”. Szybko zerknęłam na Legimi i bum – jest audiobook! Natychmiast się za niego zabrałam, tym bardziej, że trwał tylko około 1,5 godziny.

Słuchowisko stworzone przez Nine Realms na podstawie książki Łukasza Wierzbisckiego to mała uczta dla uszu. Opracowanie dźwiękowe jest fenomenalne, a podkłady muzyczne świetnie dopełniają historie z mitologii słowiańskiej. Same opowiadania mają bardzo przyjemną krótką formę i nie zanudzają zbędnymi opisami czy dywagacjami. Możecie się tam spodziewać stworzenia świata i człowieka oraz trzech opowieści o porwaniu Jutrzenki, o Marzannie i wyprawie na spotkanie przeznaczenia.

Gorąco polecam wszystkim fanom „Mitologii nordyckiej” Gaimana – to jest ten sam klimat, ale podrasowany dźwiękiem. Jeśli tylko macie chwilę, załóżcie słuchawki, rozłóżcie kocyk i odlećcie w świat starych wierzeń z „Drzewem”.

You drew my attention to ‚Tree. Slavic Myths and Other Stories’ under one of the previous posts. I quickly checked on Legimi, and voilà – there’s an audiobook! I immediately got into it, especially since it lasted only about 1.5 hours.

The audio play created by Nine Realms based on Łukasz Wierzbiscki’s book is a treat for the ears. The sound design is phenomenal, and the musical backgrounds wonderfully complement the stories from Slavic mythology. The narratives themselves have a very enjoyable short form and don’t bore with unnecessary descriptions or digressions. You can expect stories about the creation of the world and mankind, as well as three tales about the abduction of Jutrzenka, about Marzanna, and the journey to meet destiny.

I highly recommend it to all fans of Neil Gaiman’s ‚Norse Mythology’ – it has the same ambiance but enhanced with atmospheric sound. If you have a moment, put on your headphones, grab a blanket, and immerse yourself in the world of old beliefs with ‚Tree.’
