🇵🇱 Dziękuję autorce, Jamie Applegate Hunter, za eARC tej książki! Zakochałam się w pierwszym tomie i POTRZEBOWAŁAM tego drugiego!

Uwielbiam, gdy książka dostarcza dokładnie to, czego się po niej spodziewałam – obsesyjny główny bohater, więź dusz, pikantne sceny, wszystko, co tylko chcesz.

Trochę się obawiałam, zanim zaczęłam czytać. Wiedząc, co się wydarzyło (zdradzone w pierwszej części), myślałam, że nie będę aż tak podekscytowana lekturą, jak zwykle. I faktycznie, na samym początku nie poczułam od razu miłości. Ale im lepiej poznawałam Violet i Romana, tym bardziej wciągała mnie ich historia. Nie miałam wątpliwości, że są sobie przeznaczeni. Ich romans to absolutny sztos!

I choć kochałam Romana za jego obsesję i szaleństwo, nie mogę nie wspomnieć o jego matce. Po prostu ją uwielbiam! Chciałabym, żeby było więcej scen z jej udziałem! Wsparcie, jakiego udziela synowi, i ten morderczy vibe, który jej mąż próbuje poskromić? Coś niesamowitego!

Cieszę się, że w tej części również pojawił się motyw listów. Był to miły ukłon w stronę pierwszego tomu, a jednocześnie świetnie spaja oba tomy. Mam nadzieję, że w kolejnych też się pojawią jakieś listy.

Teoretycznie to powieść, którą można czytać jako osobną historię, ale ja sobie nie wyobrażam porzucić opowieści o królach Edenu po jednej książce. Z niecierpliwością czekam na kolejną! Wrzesień jest taaak daleko…

Thank you to the author, Jamie Applegate Hunter, for an eARC of this book! I’ve been in love with the first one and I NEEDED this one!

I love it when a book delivers everything I’ve expected from it – obsessed MMC, mate bonds, the spice, you name it.

I was a bit worried starting it. Knowing what happens (disclosed in book one), I thought I might not be as excited to read it as I normally would be. And, at the very beginning, I didn’t feel an instant love. But the more I got to know Violet and Roman, the more I got sucked into their story. I had no doubt they were meant for each other. Their romance delivers big time!

And as much as I loved Roman and his obsession and his unhinged energy, I can’t not mention his mother. I freaking love that lady! I wish there were more scenes with her! The way she supports all her son’s decisions, and that murderous vibe her husband tries to tame? It’s to die for!

I’m also very happy that there were some letters included, as was in book one. I feel like this binds both books togheter even more. And I really hope there will be letters in the next books as well.

In theory, this is a standalone novel, but I just can’t imagine dropping the stories of the Eden kings after just one book. I’m eagerly waiting for the next story! September is so far away…
